Vampire’s Mill

This is Sava's mill, on the site of an old mill that caused horror since the time when Milovan Glišić immortalized the legend of bloodsucker from the ravines on the border of Valjevo Mountains range with Podrinje in the short story "After Ninety Years" written in 1880. According to the story, the best Serbian horror film "Butterfly" was made. Of course, these are all just stories, but the fact that "vampire" is an old Serbian word, derived from the word "ampir" – the unburned, and that some Cepes Dracul (dragon in Romanian), a knight of the Order of the Dragon, took his fame, ignites the imagination. Hurry up and go home before the sunset.

(V)ampirova vodenica
